Favorite Hockey Team: Detroit Red Wings

Favorite City/Tournament Played in: All of them have been a blast and very accommodating, but St. Louis had the casino! Even though I don’t gamble it was a fun environment.

The journey that brought me to sled – I’ve always LOVED hockey and started playing stand up as an adult when my son played.  I figured that since I was spending so much time at the rink, I may as well join the fun.  Then later in life, when I was diagnosed with MS and lost the ability to skate upright, I was devastated.  A friend who also had MS mentioned sled hockey, and I couldn’t get my butt in a sled fast enough : )
